It was a real treat to be able to design one of nine GDC Christmas cards for the Saskatchewan North Chapter of The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada. As a long-standing professional member, it was a privilege to volunteer my time to a project where all proceeds go towards the GDC Foundation. They were silkscreened by Novatex Graphics with the envelopes printed by Mister Print. There are packages still available for purchase next year – they make a beautiful handmade gift.
It seems like silkscreening is a bit of a lost art, I absolutely love the craft so it was an exciting opportunity. I adore the style of the silkscreened prints of the 60s, with that being a prominent influence in my design.
